John is passionate about Family Law and related areas of law and is a zealous advocate in helping people through what can be an exceedingly difficult time. He provides effective representation for each client whether being aggressive in the courtroom, or negotiating settlements, his representation fits each client’s particular needs and their budget.
Prior to joining Rusz Legal Services, John managed a general practice law firm, for which he handled matters in various legal areas, including criminal law, family law, and civil litigation. John also served as a Legislative Aide at the Maryland State Senate, where he advised on proposed regulations and assisted in the Judicial Proceedings Committee.
John received his undergraduate degree in International Studies with minors in Spanish and Political Science from Towson University where he graduated cum laude with Honors. As a law student, he served as a Fellow for the Center of International & Comparative Law and as a Teaching Assistant, conducting weekly lectures on legal writing.
